Our new purpose-built Central Service Hub in Seven Hills, Sydney, establishes a national facility dedicated to advancing the sustainable refurbishment, testing and reuse of home dialysis equipment while expanding technical service capabilities across Australia. It brings together technical services, connected care capabilities and home dialysis machine refurbishment within a purpose-designed facility.
The new hub has been designed to strengthen support for clinicians and patients across Australia while enhancing the efficiency, quality and sustainability of device management throughout the product lifecycle.
A key focus of the facility is the refurbishment and reuse of home dialysis machines. Through redesigned workflows and investment in new technology, we expect to reuse more than 90% of eligible home dialysis machines reaching the end of their initial use, helping to reduce waste while maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards. Each machine undergoes extensive decontamination, sterilisation, recalibration and testing before being returned to service, and the redesigned facility is expected to increase refurbishment productivity by approximately 35%.
The Central Service Hub also serves as our national centre for technical services, where devices arriving in Australia are tested and calibrated before being delivered into clinical and home care settings. The site also supports ongoing device maintenance and repair, and houses our connected care capabilities, enabling remote monitoring, software updates and device connectivity support for the growing number of connected therapies used in healthcare.

The facility replaces our previous technical services site and more than doubles its footprint, bringing together service and support functions that had previously operated across different locations and providing capacity to support future growth and innovation in kidney care. By bringing critical services together under one roof, the new facility reinforces our focus on reliable national support, service resilience, sustainable refurbishment and helping expand access to home dialysis care for Australian patients.
