You'll complete the course with tangible educational outcomes that you may implement in your practice to enable better outcomes for patients considering or undertaking PD.

PD Academy is a two-day academic course designed to help renal physicians develop a sound knowledge of the principles of PD

This well-developed academic course is offered to clinicians who are motivated to develop their PD program by challenging practice and improving patient outcomes in their unit. PD Academy provides essential insight into PD treatments based on the highest quality evidence-based practice.

The course is not affiliated to any particular institution or hospital. PD Academy is accredited by the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN).

PD Academy has four broad aims:

To improve the quality of life and maximise the quality of care of PD patients

To give confidence to those managing or starting a PD program

To promote a philosophy of integrated care amongst renal clinicians

To develop future leaders in PD

PD Academy Faculty

The PD Academy Faculty develop and deliver the course. PD Academy is supported by an educational grant from Vantive to provide the faculty with full independence.
